DWBC is a lovely fellowship about twenty [20] miles west-north-west of here and the SDHS do an absolutely marvellous job in getting the Word out in Hebrew to our far flung Jewish friends and those of us blessed enough to want to learn the Absolute language. FOUR CANDLES

Hello again folks! I like this short ode that our friends and partners over at: 'Israel Today' [http://israeltoday.co.il/] published the other day. Please note that it has nothing to do with: 'The Two Ronnies' either! But there are many truths that this poem contains to help counter all the half-truths and downright lies that we all have to put up these days ... especially during the silly season that most folks used to call Christmas but now call anything else:

Four Candles

Four candles sent forth their light.

You could hear the candles whispers in the quiet night.

A candle of peace, a candle of faith, and a candle of hope,

All shined in the darkness together with the candle of love.

As time passed by the candles light started fading away.

Peace felt unappreciated, while faith and hope were weak and felt they were no longer needed or important.

Suddenly a boy entered the room and cried at the sight of the three extinguished candles.

You are supposed to light with all your might and strength, said the child as he continued crying.

The fourth candle then spoke:

“Do not fear child, for as long as I burn we can ignite the flames of the extinguished candles. I am love.”

With glowing eyes the boy took the candle of love and lit the other candles.

The flame of love must never die, each and every one us must nurture and cherish the love, hope, faith and peace inside of him.

SEEDING THE NEXT GENERATION

Hello again folks! My son brought home some homework from his Primary school last weekend about the history and future of money. What was interesting about it was the last paragraph where the author speculated about the future of money as being a micro-chip under the skin so as to avoid the possibility of fraud and make the transactions more efficient and transparent.

Whereas in the past, End Times exponents like Barry Smith; Tony Pearce and Bob Mitchell et al have been labelled as conspiracy theorists; scare mongers and even false prophets or teachers, what we can now see is the seeding of the next generation for what the Bible has been predicting for two thousand years. Before we were seeing presentations and hypotheses but now we are seeing the foundations being laid with the latest generation as the next step in that great deception. Parents need to be watchful especially as world governments convulse and strain with the [so-called] 'economic chaos' we are being told is taking place.

STANDING FIRM: YACOV PRASCH; BOB MITCHELL & BRIAN GEMMELL

For some time I have to admit that I have not watched so-called 'Christian' TV at any level. For some time I have not been comfortable with the scenario where on one hand I can watch and hear and be exhorted by sound, biblical ministries such as: 'Moriel' [Yacov Prasch] and 'Shofar' [Bob Mitchell] whereas on the other hand these self same channels pump out the mammon based Churchianic trash of folks like Benny Hinn; Kenneth Copeland; Jesse Du Plantis; Creflo Dollar and [sadly] many others.

And it is for that reason that I totally support the decision of Yacov Prasch; Bob Mitchell and Brian Gemmell to withdraw from their participation with Revelation TV.

Yes, it does mean that they are out on the periphery again in terms of the 'mainstream' 'Christian' media but I have no doubt that the LORD will bless them for their honest and noble stand against the compromises that RTV feel they have to make in order to stay on air versus true and real faith in the LORD to provide for ALL of their needs - not just some of them.

Only one [1] scripture came to my mind when dear Sally Richardson emailed me with the news:

"A false balance is an abomination to the LORD ..."

Hello again folks! I am truly over the moon that the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit has been freed from his illegal detention by Hamas operatives in Gaza. Both sides appear to be pleased with manufactured outcome. The Hamas terrorist organization is cooing because there are now 1,000 plus criminals enjoying their release. and all for the price of just one Jewish soldier. The Israelis are pleased too that they have extricated their man from the claws of their palestinian neighbours - even at the cost of the Israeli justice machine being truncated. One side will be saying we have won for the cost of one lousy enemy soldier and the other will be doing the same to a degree as the cost of a freed soul mirrors the love of life enshrined in their culture and society. The Bible says that 1,000 days is a one day with the LORD. But that is not so when it comes to souls. The LORD is not willing that ANY should perish ... no not one. I rejoice in the release of Gilad Shilat but I would rejoice more greatly if he turned to His Messiah Yeshua and the blindness of the palestinian muslim hoardes were opened as the scales fell from their deceived eyes. My point is that no-one is truly a 'winner' unless they rest in the LORD their Victor who has already done the Hard Work of True Salvation for all of us.

BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE?

Hello again folks!I had one of my rare 'thoughts' the other day. I was thinking on the desolation of the judgements as described in the Book of Revelation. Specifically that there will be few men on the earth at the end of the Tribulation. When one considers all the 'Doomsday' scenarios being played out in the secular press a la 21/12/12; the Elenin comet [apparently] et al; there appears to be a building expectation of absolute devastation being broadcast to the masses. When one considers that the NWO actively wants dramatic population reduction anyway; this fits in with that particular 'End Time' scenario. But what struck me was this.

I [amongst not a few others] have always keep an eye on the ever increasing technological innovations with a view to the dreaded 'Mark of the Beast' - 666 - and all that that entails. I am not saying that this is wrong. But what if there is no need for such an advanced 'mark' when those days hit us? I mean this. Multiplicity of natural [and man-made] disasters may mean that there is nothing like the infrastructure that we now have. This means that there may well be a significantly reduced world population. For me this may mean that that 'mark' may well turn out to be something a little more 'analogue' than I and others have expected; waited; warned about and watched for.

It is my firm belief that we have a lot of shocks coming up for those believers who have it all mapped it out and schemed out their 'prophetic' timetables. Maybe my 'thought' is wrong ... but could it be that the 'mark' is what John imagined it to be in the first place or something similar and that many [as with other 'End Time' theories including the timing of the rapture] well-meaning Christians are barking up the wrong tree prophetically speaking ... to coin a phrase.

RECENT PROPHECY: LANCE LAMBERT [06/08/11]

Hello again folks! I would like to share this interesting Word given to and by Lance Lambert in Richmond on Saturday 06-Aug-2011. These words should be taken very seriously ... Lance Lambert is a sound man of God in this writer's personal opinion. And ... as with ALLprophecies ... testing by the Word is required as is patience looking toward fulfilment:

"Hear the voice of the Lord, O Isles that I have so greatly loved and favoured. I the Lord the Almighty, I took you when you were nothing, clothed with skins and woad, and through My saving power, I made you great. When you were nothing, through My Word and your faith in Me, I lifted you and made you Great Britain. Through many awakenings and many revivals, stage by stage, I took you until you became a great power with the greatest Empire in the history of the nations. From you My Gospel and My Word went throughout the world, and tens of thousands came into an experience of saving faith! It is a church where I am outside of its routine; its organisation and its methodology. It is Christianity with Me: Religion without Me!

My being is seared with pain, for judgement is determined against your land. I can do no other. I will destroy the vestiges of her greatness; I will return her to her first estate. I will wreck her economy, destabilize her in every way. I will change her climate, even her weather. I will prove to her that the way of the transgressor is hard and terrible. I will allow demonic forces held in check erstwhile by My Word and Gospel, and the living faith of so many, to become rampant in her social life, to the destruction of her society. THE STRUGGLE AND THE SAVIOUR

We've talked about various subjects [naturally!] but one recurring theme is the sense of humour of the LORD and the oft last minute timing of His interventions. This [naturally!] reminded this writer of this story; which has so very many levels and truths within it for all of us to consider:

A man was swimming in the sea and got into some difficulties. Folks gathered on the sea shore and several waded in and tried to reach him but - alas - without success. Some rang the Coastguard; but in no way were they going to be here in time. The man kicked and splashed desperately trying to keep his head above the water but the currents and rip tides were winning the battle for his very life. Just when all was lost; a Jewish guy appears and rows out to the forlorn fellow - at His own pace. And just as the man goes under for the last time; the Jewish guy pulls him up out of the water and into His boat. Later; safely back on shore; a bystander asks the Jewish guy why He waited so long to intervene. His answer was: "He was too busy struggling for Me to save him!"

Hello again folks! This is a very noteworthy story that [funnily enough] is being reported but is nowhere near the top of the pile in terms of the headlines - both here and in the USA. We should all be aware that the EU countries of Greece; Portugal and Ireland have been 'award' a 'junk' credit rating by Moody's and that Italy and Spain are struggling to avoid their fate; but the really interesting report that is doing the rounds is that the mighty USA are in danger of losing their 'AAA' credit rating:

It is of note because if the US - who have a 'public' debt of $14.3 trillion - lose that premier credit rating; the amount of interest they pay on that debt will increase and they may then then themselves be one step nearer to the kind of default that we have witnessed on out TV screens this summer. Yes - there are lots of folks who have worked everything out and are saying that this is this and that is that in terms of end-time prophecy - but I urge you to not only keep checking out that periphery but also be prepared for a few surprises that those 'experts' who have taught theory for fact may be not be prepared for. Jesus' First Advent slipped in unawares and only a very few folks sussed it out. I would not be surprised if there were a a surprise or two more in the days; weeks; months and years ahead. Be careful my friends.

15 QUESTIONS FOR EVOLUTIONISTS

Hello again folks! Whilst it may appear that I haven't been blogging here lately [and I haven't in reality!]; I wish to reassure you that Yours Truly KJS is still watching and researching. You all should know by now that I am NOT an evolutionist but that I also encourage folks to check out all the possibilities in terms of our origins. Indeed; the 'long war against God' is in many forms and not least in the classrooms of our kindergartens; primary schools; secondary schools right up to our 'seats of [so-called] learning'.

Hence; I was pleased to received a few of the above leaflets from Creation Ministries International [http://creation.com/] the other day. So pleased that I've scanned them so that you have have a look too and get a few answers - or even nudge you to ask a few questions of those [so-called] 'experts' out there!

THE CoE HAS LOST ITS SAVOUR [AND SAVIOUR]

Hello again folks! Everyone, of course, has the right to an opinion. Hence; this writer was not surprised when one Rowan Williams weighed in recently with his opinion on Government policy last week. We are warned to keep out of temporal politics primarily because of the danger it espouses. The problem with the Church of England however and its leader - the 'Archdruid' of Canterbury - is that it has spent so much time in the last two [2] generations [at least] watering down the True Gospel and trying to be relevant to the world; that it really is irrelevant - as one BBC journalist put it the other night. This is tragic. Not only because the views of 'Churchianity' are now considered unviable - but because an organization that was born of adultery has almost completed its journey on the road to nowhere.

True believers now undoubtedly face a double hurdle to overcome when trying to reach lost souls. One is that they are included in the irrelevant class of man-made pseudo politio-religious organizations that invite ridicule at times when they do spout forth an 'opinion' on issues of the day and the second is that folks are turned off by a system that in trying to reach the world has actually become like it - especially when their leader resembles a character from 'Lord of the Rings' and confuses even me when he makes a speech. In other words - however much the CoE has made a difference in the past; right now it is dying a death because it has lost any savour it [as salt] might have had in days gone by. But there is always hope and the path of repentance to consider as an antidote to their malaise.

And I like it ... it is straight to the point; direct and brings a smile to the face. Just like any simple message for a free gift should be!

RAPTURE RAMIFICATIONS

Hello again folks! Whether you are Pre-Trib; Mid-Trib; Post-Trib or [like me] Pre-Wrath; the mass media news stories regarding the [so-called] 'predicted' rapture time and date as espoused by one Harold Camping as 18:00 [in various time zones] on Saturday 21-May-2011 have certainly grabbed the attention of many.

But I will not join the chorus and ridicule this man. The Biblical test of a True Prophet of God is 100% accuracy and Mr. Camping has already failed this in 1994 when he falsely prophesied a similar event. Hence I an not in the least surprised. In other words; he is a false prophet and one of many to appear in these Last Days But what this gentleman has done [as did 'Pastor' Terry Jones when he threatened to burn a koran or two] is have the True tenets of Christianity [and by extension its eschatology] misunderstood and mocked by a deceived and lost world:

So; on one hand the world now has visibility of an event that is coming its way in reality; in yet future days. But on the other hand; many non-believers will now mock; ignore and frankly be totally inattentive to the coming chaos as detailed in Revelation [the book of 'revealings']. Sadly; many folks in their churches of 'Churchianity' are also ignorant and are not taught about future days Truthfully.

Hence any True prophet or prophecy will be mocked and ignored too; specifically those in the Word. Is it any wonder then that the LORD said: "... when these things occur ..." - folks being married and being given in marriage et al - the REAL event WILL take them by surprise in a 'Peter and the wolf' sort of fashion. They will then believe yet another lie and be further deceived by those 'leaders' left behind.

Indeed; those raptured or 'caught up' [rapizo] will be taken: "... in the twinkling of an eye ..." and that the LORD will come like: "... like a thief in the night ...". The terminology used here speaks of suddenness and speed and secrecy. It will not be pre-advertized on Twitter or Facebook or CNN or BBC news bulletins or most folks calendars. So when most folks wake up on Sunday morning still in one piece; they will lump True Christians in with the ilk of Harold Camping et al; making it just that bit harder to witness the Truth but at the same time leading some to rely ever more on the leading of the Holy Spirit than their own soulish endeavour and enthusiasm.

ADDRESSING THE METHODIST CHURCH STANCE AGAINST ISRAEL

Hello again folks! With many thanx to my friend Sally Richardson. If ever you wanted an example of the absolute folly of what I term: 'Churchianity' and to see what happens when a movement that starts so well on the right motives and doctrine but then truly goes off the rails; then you only have to look at the stance of the Methodist Church in Britain against the Jewish state of Israel. They should be reminded that the LORD Jesus Christ is Jewish and of the role of Israel in the forthcoming 'last days'. But I think that this open letter to the "General Secretary of the Methodist Church and Connexial Team" by Gerald Oberman is fantastic and right to the point. I say this as someone who attended a Methodist church in the 1990's and was alarmed back then at the state of Wesley's heritage. Read on folks and applaud Mr. Oberman:

"Dear Sir, In your annual conference you have passed a policy calling for a boycott of goods from “illegal” Israeli 'West Bank' settlements”. You claim this is not anti-Semitic. But how else do you explain this strange obsession with Israel? What about the Chinese occupation of Tibet, or the Sudanese slaughter in Darfur, persecution in Zimbabwe and elsewhere?

Politically, one could probably compile a case for a boycott against just about every country on the planet, but the only country in the world being subjected to a call for a boycott is Israel. The so-called 'West Bank' has been Jewish for more than 3,000 years. A large part was known as Judea. Jesus, a Jew, was born there. Who do you imagine lived in Judea, if not the Jews? Who lived in Hebron but the Hebrews? The name Bethlehem is Hebrew. Only the Jews, of all the people in the world, living in their own land, are besmirched by being called illegal settlers.

Israel is monstrously depicted as Apartheid, notwithstanding the fact that one fifth of her population is Israeli Arab with full rights. The Palestinians claim the 'West Bank' as theirs and require the land to be Juden Frei. And just who are the “Palestinians”? Palestine has never existed as an autonomous entity. There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. There has never been a King of Palestine. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc. The "Palestinian" leader Yasser Arafat was an Egyptian. They have no claim on the 'West Bank'. Israel is not wrongfully "occupying" or “settling” anything. Israel is currently the subject of a demonisation and misinformation campaign put out by Arab sources and propelled with a strong anti-Semitic undercurrent. The Arab world is spewing out anti-Semitism unequalled since the Hitler era. It is so pervasive, many Jews are being infected. Israel is portrayed as the most evil state on the planet.

Why are you so obsessed with Israel, yet say nothing about the persecution of Christians? According to Justus Reid Weiner, an international human rights lawyer, the dwindling Christian communities in Palestinian-run territories are likely to dissipate completely within the next 15 years as a result of increasing Palestinian maltreatment: "The systematic persecution of Christian Arabs living in Palestinian areas is being met with nearly total silence by the international community, human rights activists, and the media".

Your boycott of Israeli “settlements” is, of course, the prelude to a boycott of all Israel. I trust you are preparing a complete boycott of everything coming out of Israel. Check all your medications. An Israeli company has developed a simple blood test that distinguishes between mild and more severe cases of Multiple Sclerosis. So, if you know anyone suffering from MS, tell them to ignore the Israeli patent that may, more accurately, diagnose their symptoms.

An Israeli-made device helps restore the use of paralysed hands. This device electrically stimulates the hand muscles, providing hope to millions of stroke sufferers and victims of spinal injuries. If you wish to remove this hope of a better quality of life to these people, go ahead and boycott Israel. Young children with breathing problems will soon be sleeping more soundly, thanks to a new Israeli device called the 'Child Hood'. This innovation replaces the inhalation mask with an improved drug delivery system that provides relief for child and parent. Please tell anxious mothers that they shouldn't use this device because of your passionate cause. These are just a few examples of how people have benefited medically from Israeli research and developments. Boycotts often affect research. A new research centre in Israel hopes to throw light on brain disorders such as depression and Alzheimer's disease. The Joseph Sangol Neuroscience Center in the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Ha Shomer Hospital, aims to bring thousands of scientists and doctors to focus on brain research.

A researcher at Israel's Ben Gurion University has succeeded in creating human monoclonal antibodies which can neutralize the highly contagious smallpox virus without inducing the dangerous side effects of the existing vaccine. Two Israelis received the 2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Doctors Ciechanover and Hershko's research and discovery of one of the human cells most important cyclical processes will lead the way to DNA repair, control of newly produced proteins, and immune defence systems. The Movement Disorder Surgery program at Israel's Hadassah Medical Centre has successfully eliminated the physical manifestations of Parkinson's disease in a select group of patients with a deep brain stimulation technique.

For women who undergo hysterectomies each year for the treatment of uterine fibroids, the development in Israel of the 'Ex Ablate 2000 System' is a welcome breakthrough, offering a non-invasive alternative to surgery. Israel is developing a nose drop that will provide a five year flu vaccine. These are just a few of the projects that you can help stop with your Israel boycott.

Most of Windows operating systems were developed by Microsoft-Israel. So, throw away your computer. Computers should have a sign attached saying 'Israel Inside'. The Pentium NMX Chip technology was designed at Intel in Israel. Both the Pentium 4 microprocessor and the Centrum processor were entirely designed, developed, and produced in Israel.

RECENT PROPHECY: LANCE LAMBERT [17/04/11]

Hello again folks! I would like to share this interesting Word given to and by Lance Lambert over in Jerusalem on Sunday 17-April-2011. These words should be taken very seriously ... Lance Lambert is a sound man of God in this writer's personal opinion. And ... as with ALL prophecies ... testing by the Word is required as is patience looking toward fulfilment:

"It is well with you that you intercede for Israel that she be saved, for it is My purpose to save her. THE UNPEACEFUL PEOPLE

Hello again folks! I note with interest that the [so-called] 'palestinians' in the Gaza strip are decrying the death of one Osama Bin Laden. These are the self same people who openly celebrated on their streets the 9/11 terror attacks in the USA. They are the people who when recently polled about the vicious and cowardly murder [including the stabbing of a three [3] month old baby] of five [5] members of the Fogel family in Itamar [not unsurprisingly under-reported by the mass media]. These are also the folks who also voted in Hamas for their 'government' who then promptly threw members of their vanquished muslim compatriots Fatah from their own roof tops. May I also add that as of today; Hamas and Fatah have now signed a 'unity deal' to promote the destruction of the 'Zionist entity' in line with the goals and terminology of their islamic allies in Iran. The only unity that they can agree on is to follow the precepts of the koran to destroy the Jewish people and their allies.

It seems to this writer that the 'palestinians' delight to protest international justice but they celebrate international terrorism. Note that these are the people whom the UN; the EU; Tony Blair and the [so-called] Quartet want to be 'peace partners' with Israel!

But thank God that His Word shall prevail over the vain plotting and downright evil thoughts of fallen man as he himself is deceived by the enemy of their souls. Can you see the folly of man? Is it any wonder that the Lord shall hold them in derision one day soon.

TEARS IN HEAVEN

Hello again folks! Most people look at the end-times prophecies of the Bible with either fear or trepidation. Some [quite rightly!] view it with hope and anticipation. A few years back; I preached on the subject of : "Tears in Heaven". And this last weekend I was reminded or urged or poked to present it again via this particular forum. Back in 2001 I asked this question: "What tears will need wiping away in Heaven?". Of course; these could be the tears of receiving full and True Salvation and/or the joy of meeting up with old friends et al. Now please read the following four [4] scriptures:

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

[Revelation 21:4]

"The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree."

[Job 24:20]

Let them be before the LORD continually, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth." [Psalm 109:15]

"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

[Isaiah 65:17]

What I want to put across today is this. The Bible tells us that upon reaching the eternal state of Salvation; we will know all things fully [to paraphrase a portion of I Corinthians 13]. That sadly means that we will also remember unsaved family members; friends; colleagues and even enemies. Imagine the pain of remembering forever those beloved acquaintances who you encountered; lived with and loved during your lifetime who were not born again? It is my personal belief; that in part; the above scriptures are not meant to frighten and threaten. They are meant to comfort. I believe that it is possible that God in His mercy will wipe away our memories not only of pain and grief ... but He will also heal our recollections. He wants us to look forward and not backward.

The flip side of this is that those souls who end up in Hades may well remember their unforgiven sins and lives forever knowing that not only are they damned; but that they are doomed to be be forgotten for eternity too - and by all the [saved] folks that they lived their lives with. We are told of worms; fire; angst and regret in the Word but the possibility of abject loneliness and abandonment is - to this writer - just as bad; if not worse because God intended us for fellowship amongst other things. We are social beings.

I write this to comfort those who are saved and have a burden for all those unsaved folks who daily surround them. I also write this because in these truly dark days; we possibly require even further motivation to reach out and tell forth the True Gospel - while we still have the [so-called] 'freedom' to do so. If ever there were some new material for you to preach with - then here it is!

SAINTHOOD; BEAUTIFICATION AND DECEPTION

If ever one wanted to see just how unbiblical; downright Babylonian and spiritually dark the doctrines of the roman catholic church are then you must must shudder like me when you see all the hype in the news today over the 'beautification' of the former; deceased Pope John John Paul II:

Our ultimate Authority and Source of reference is the Word. And the Word [The Holy Bible] tells us that: "... it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment ..." [Hebrews 9:27]. That judgement is by the Lord Jesus Christ and not a pseudo-religious organization of fallen men twisting and jerking the Word of God into "... doctrines of demons ...". Exhuming a coffin and then performing irreligious mantras over it for the sake of false doctrine is indeed a stink in God's nostrils.

Karol Józef Wojtyła was a fallen man like you and me. None of us can earn credit[s] with God on our own merits. Indeed, True Salvation is the GIFT of God and you cannot earn a gift! The Bible teaches us that any believer who leaves this life in a right standing with their Maker is a saint. Honouring the dead in this fashion is no different than the practice of trying to talk to them and is wholly dishonouring to God.

I feel so very sad yet angry that such a huge multitude of folks will gather to 'celebrate' this grand deception today - in the presence of such 'dignitaries' as Robert Mugabe. The fields are indeed white for harvest. The problem is that there is a field of True Salvation and a field of destruction.

Roman catholics need True Salvation as much as Jews; muslims; Jehovah's Witnesses; Mormons; atheists et al. But are we up for it? Really?

MARRIAGE MUSINGS

Hello again folks! Any wedding is usually a happy and blessed occasion. I am attending one soon and I am looking forward to the day. But despite all the hype and wall-to-wall coverage on the mass media; today should be a day when [for a change!] there is some blanket good news being broadcast to the masses. A couple of thoughts came to me this morning when I came to. The first was this familiar portion of the Word:

"For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." [Matthew 24:38-39]

It struck me that amidst the tension in the Middle East; the storms battering the US mid-west; the Japanese and New Zealand earthquake carnage et al - people today are still out there celebrating the Royal Wedding [and quite rightly if they so choose] - despite everything - echoing the above words of Jesus from the Olivet Discourse a la Matthew chapters 24 and 25.

The other thing that came to mind when I heard someone on the TV state that it is expected that two [2] billion folks are expected to tune in today to watch the ceremony was this . Now that kind of viewing figure is not far off from a third of the worlds population. In the Book of Revelation we read these inspired words:

"And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them ... And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves." [Revelation 11:7;9]

Without being accused of being morbid et al ... I thought it of note that this yet-to-occur event will most likely acquire viewing statistics to rival or beat those for the big event today. I have no idea whether this will speak to anyone specifically; but I thought that these musings of mine might invite your perusal.

THE PASSING OF DAVID WILKERSON

Hello again folks! It is indeed, on one level, so very sad to have heard earlier today that Pastor David Wilkerson has died at the age of 79 in a road traffic accident in east Texas; but for True believers - tragic as this news is - on the other hand it is a release for him and it was the time to meet His Saviour at his appointed time:

David Wilkerson is a hero to many, many True Christians. Someone who was not afraid to do the difficult things called for in the Christian walk that include putting aside the home comforts of ones personal and family life and replacing it with a fierce loyalty to His Lord and the work of His Saviour. Most of us all know [or know of] his famous book [and film] "The Cross and the Switchblade" and ensuing publications. But Pastor David Wilkerson was so much more than that. He founded the Times Square Church in NYC in an area that many wouldn't; he authored many biblical publications; preached the True Gospel to and around the world and left a telling spiritual heritage to millions of people both in person and on-line. His successor Pastor Carter Conlon is a 'chip of the old block' too. He wasn't perfect - he made mistakes too - but to this writer; he was a shining light in an ever darkening spiritual climate in which the [so-called' 'church'] increasingly failed to do the duties to which it was supposedly called. Rest in peace David Wilkerson - I truly hope that many of those blessed by your ministry see you on the other side and embrace you.

MIRACLES FOR SALE: A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE

Hello again folks! Just after I constructed yesterday's blog entitled: "Miracles For Sale"; it crossed my mind [and that of my wife Julie as well] to share an example of the kind of shameless mail order 'miracles' and downright evil deception has impacted my immediate family - and which was alluded to last night in the Channel Four programme of the same name. I write today to warn you about one of these 'organizations' - the not-so-humbly titled: "World Conquerors Christian Centre".

These events occurred over four [4] years ago and still stick in my throat. And this is why I applaud last nights programme. Here is the text of a letter that I wrote to 'Bishop' Climate Irungu at their Edinburgh HQ back in October 2006:

"I write on behalf of Mrs. Susan Thomas. I have in my possession nine letters from your organization addressed to one Susan “Thonis” or “Tiako” dated between 18th October 2005 and 26th September 2006 and I write with great concern and righteous indignation concerning the contents of these letters.

All of your letters initially paraphrase scripture and then purpose to report that you are specifically praying to or have specifically prayed to the LORD and that the LORD has spoken to you over a variety of situations pertaining to Susan’s life. In addition to this, scripture is taken out of context and are used to espouse the modern Christian doctrinal heresies of word-faith and prosperity now as well as other unbiblical teachings with respect to the nature, authority and power of the devil and that of the believer. I’m particularly concerned that in your letters to Susan, you offer to pray over or “anoint’” her prayer requests if and when you receive an offering from her in a specific time frame.

It is not my intention to write a long letter refuting the error of your teachings. However, it is clear in all the letters here in my possession that you state that the LORD is or has spoken to you clearly and specifically in respect of aspects of Susan’s life. I am writing to inform you that the LORD always speaks through and in accordance with His Word, the Bible; that the Blessed Holy Spirit always points people to the Lord Jesus Christ [not fallen man] and that the Spirit cannot err either in prophecy, doctrine or revelation.

This letter is not intended to personally attack you but to stir you to reconsider your ministry and teachings before the LORD and truly seek His face. Remember that scripture states that judgement begins at the House of God.

I am concerned that you exhibit in your writings the fruit of the false prophet and dreamer of dreams referred to Deuteronomy chapter 13; verses 1-5; Deuteronomy chapter 18; verses 20-22 and also Jeremiah chapter 23; verses 30-32.

You also imply that you can ‘pass on’ the “anointing” on to prayer requests and donations; and that this is dependant upon the receipt of donations from your appeals. The Bible states that there is only one Mediator between God and man; Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus [or ‘Yeshua’ in Hebrew meaning ‘salvation’] the Messiah is the Anointed One. Psalm 133 indicates that the “anointing” comes from Messiah [the beard of Aaron] to the skirts of his [priestly] garments. The “anointing” is not transferred or poured out by man but the Holy Spirit Himself. We can and should take our petitions and requests directly to God as we have a Great, High Priest. No ‘middleman’ is required.

Furthermore, the offering of donations or tithes or offerings in the New Testament church was via the local assembly of believers. Invariably, the scripture states that Paul took offerings to Jerusalem due to famine and/or the persecution of the saints and not a central administration area. He worked at tent making with Aquila and Priscilla so as to not be a financial burden to the local believers. The Macedonians were poor, giving and blessed. They went through tribulation daily.

As I mentioned before, it was not my intention to go into too much detail on these matters. It is of utmost urgency, though, that you repent of the various scripture misappropriations; false prophesying and the making merchandise of believers espoused by your ministry. I believe that if you truly look inward and seek God on these issues, ask Him to forgive you and reveal the true condition of your soul; He will open your eyes and ears to the Truth.

Last, but not least, I come to the primary reason for my sending you this letter. Susan’s last name was Thomas and not “Thonis” or “Tiako”. Susan Thomas died on 14th October 2005 [last year].

MIRACLES FOR SALE

Hello again folks! Some folks over here in the United Kingdom are absolutely outraged at Derren Brown's latest escapade on Channel 4 television entitled: "Miracles For Sale" where an unsuspecting member of the British public was trained and prepared to adopt the guise of a pastor and miracle worker in the United States. Brown's 'chosen one' had six months to learn the trade and flourish as a convincing pastor.

But I, for one, am not outraged at all.What this show proves is that there are an awful lot of crooks, charlatans, swindlers and wolves in sheep's clothing out there in 'Churchianity'. There are even True Christians who are open to the vilest deception and subject to their faith being monopolised and their wallets being fleeced because their doctrine is wrong - they believe that born-again believers cannot be deceived. Yet the Lord Himself via His Word constantly warns BELIEVERS about deception in the end times!

What this programme shows is that a lot of what you see in [so-called] 'Word-Faith movement' is at the very best show business and at the very worst soul destroying. We all know the names of the guilty: Benny Hinn ... Kenneth Copeland ... Creflo Dollar ... the list goes on. This programme proves without a doubt what scams are broadcast wall-to-wall on [so-called] 'Christian' TV.

I was actually comforted to see, at the end of the documentary, the same said 'false' pastor warning believers about the deceivers in their midst who are making themselves rich at the expense of sick, ailing and desperate souls. Oh for some actual REAL Pastors to get up at the pulpit and not hold back like this young man did on here tonight. The programme makers stated quite clearly that they intended to expose the fraudsters and not shipwreck the faith of real and honest believers. I guess the sad thing is that because the church can't or won't put its own house in order; we have someone else to do it.

I was asked tonight: "But what about the real miracles; the real folks truly gifted with this ministry?" My answer was this. Where there is the false that the enemy utilizes to distract and deceive - we must consider that there is the True also that God uses by His grace and mercy to confirm His Word and bless folks - according to His Will. Satan is the master forger but God is the Master. Period. When these programmes are broadcast; I wouldn't be outraged - I would look upon it as an opportunity to show folks a truer course settled upon sound doctrine.

It is clearly wrong to steal a book from a library and deface or burn it. I understand that. But to send a man down for burning the koran is wrong in a so-called 'Christian' country. Andrew Ryan was so incensed at the outright insult of a muslim burning a poppy on Remembrance Day that he took his own chosen course of action. He is jailed for seventy [70] days for that whereas Emdadur Choudhury - who could be termed as a national 'traitor' - was fined just £50 for burning a poppy.

A man could lose his job for displaying a 'Christian' symbol. A woman was sacked by BA for wearing a cross not so long ago. A couple are banned from fostering children because they are 'fundamentalist' Christians who hold out for their principles. A Christian couple may well lose their property and livelihood for refusing a gay couple a room with a double bed.

The list goes on. Day after day; this once proud and God-fearing country of Britain and Northern Ireland becomes less 'Great' every day. I can see it. Some of you can see it. Even some non-Christians [God bless 'em] can see it. Yet the 'powers-that-be' and our Government are continuing to de-Christianize this country whilst giving ground to atheism; islam and any other 'ism' except the Christian faith and principles that it used to be famed for. I do not hear too many folks in the CoE waking up and smelling the coffee either. They are apparently too busy cosying up with Rome and the coming proponents of the 'One World Religion' as espoused by Tony Blair and the UN.

PEOPLE AGAINST PYLONS

Hello again folks! My good friend Joanna Livermore asked me at a recent 'Beatles Blues and Blue Violin' [BBBV] gig in Shrewsbury to put up a post here on KJS-HW to highlight the campaign that she is involved with over in Mid-Wales that is close to her heart - and more worryingly for the rest of us - more relevant than it seems at first glance. The lack of a cohesive energy policy in the UK hides behind a more sinister agenda that appears to forcefully promote wind power to appease the 'Gaia' green agenda more than anything else:

"You may have seen it on TV or read about it in the newspapers. Mid-Wales and Shropshire are under threat by the National Grid to erect massive 165 foot pylons across the countryside. This will have a devastating effect on the tourism industry as well as the health of the local population. IS AHMADINEJAD JEWISH?

A BUMPY ROAD AHEAD?

Hello again folks! Happy St. Patrick's Day! And without further ado; I would like to share this interesting report by a gentleman named Rick Scaparo. It's not a prophecy but rather a well considered warning that I thought was worth sharing for your perusal and Berean investigation:

"I wanted to explain why I have been concerned and frankly had some restless nights over some research and information that I have gathered concerning the next two [2] weeks of March, especially the days between March 19th and 22nd. "Oh boy" - Where do I begin? Well by now we all know about the increase in seismic activity going on around the world that has produced alarming rates of, not only earthquakes, but volcano eruptions and other natural disasters. The most recent, of course, was the Japanese earthquake which was unprecedented. The earthquake registered a 9.0 which is considered "Catastrophic" and the results were just that, resulting in a tsunami that moved the entire island of Japan by six [6] to twelve [12] feet, wiping out entire cities. The death toll is still mounting from the results of the tsunami alone. And now, there are multiple nuclear reactors on the verge of meltdown as a result of both earthquake and tsunami damage. In fact, the earthquake was so great, it has been confirmed by scientists that the entire Earth's axis was shifted an entire inch, and shortened the days by milliseconds. Having said this, there is an alarming pattern happening that cannot be ignored and it is being pointed out by scientists, geologists, and seismologists. This pattern is seen on the Earth's surface as well as under the Earth. Let's look at above ground first.

The Pacific 'Ring of Fire' [sometimes termed the 'Ring of Fire'] is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. In a 40,000 km [25,000 mile] horseshoe shape, it is associated with a nearly continuous series of oceanic trenches, volcanic arcs, volcanic belts and plate movements. The 'Ring of Fire' comsists of 452 volcanoes and is home to over 75% of the world's active and dormant volcanoes. It is sometimes also termed the 'Circum-Pacific Belt' or the 'Circum-Pacific Seismic Belt.

About 90% of the world's earthquakes and 80% of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the 'Ring of Fire'. The next most seismic region [5–6% of earthquakes and 17% of the world's largest earthquakes] is the 'Alpide Belt' that extends from Java to Sumatra through the Himalayas, the Mediterranean, and then out into the Atlantic. The 'Mid-Atlantic Ridge' is the third most prominent earthquake belt.

The 'Ring of Fire' is a direct result of plate tectonics and the movement and collisions of crustal plates. The eastern section of the ring is the result of the 'Nazca Plate' and the 'Cocos Plate' being subducted beneath the westward moving 'South American Plate'. The 'Cocos Plate' is being subducted beneath the 'Caribbean Plate' in Central America. A portion of the 'Pacific Plate' along with the small 'Juan de Fuca Plate' is being subducted beneath the North American Plate. Along the northern portion, the north-western moving 'Pacific Plate' is being subducted beneath the Aleutian Islands arc. Further west, the 'Pacific Plate' is being subducted along the Kamchatka Peninsula and arcs south, west of Japan. The southern portion is more complex with a number of smaller tectonic plates in collision with the 'Pacific Plate' from the Mariana Islands, the Philippines, Bougainville, Tonga, and New Zealand. This portion excludes Australia, since it lies in the centre of its tectonic plate. Indonesia lies between the 'Ring of Fire' along the north-eastern islands adjacent to and including New Guinea and the 'Alpide Belt' south and west from Sumatra, Java, Bali, Flores, and Timor. The famous and very active 'San Andreas Fault' zone of California is a transform fault which offsets a portion of the 'East Pacific Rise' under the south-western United States and Mexico. The motion of the fault generates numerous small earthquakes, sometimes many times a day, most of which are too small to be felt. The active 'Queen Charlotte Fault' on the west coast of the Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia, Canada, has generated three large earthquakes during the 20th century: a magnitude 7 event in 1929, a magnitude 8.1 event in 1949 [Canada's largest recorded earthquake] and a magnitude 7.4 in 1970. There is major activity taking place below our feet according to seismic charts that read activity levels indicating signs of earthquakes and volcanoes. As of lately, this region known as the "Ring of Fire" has lit up like a Christmas tree in terms of seismic activity! The question is: If the pattern continues along this "Ring of Fire" ... then those folks living on the West Coast area of the United States, particularly California, should be paying very close attention! We can see that there are many clues giving us some warning of this but it' is not 100% certain. But let us also be aware that underneath our feet there is much evidence that the Earth is drastically changing and groaning and travailing for redemption from its fallen stance [Romans 8]. Hello again folks! There's an interesting article entitled: "The Egyptian Reed" on page #19 of the March 2011 edition of that fine magazine: "Israel Today". But what caught this writers attention was a photograph of Anwar Sadat and Menachem Begin during the 1977 peace negotiations between Israel and Egypt. Take a look ... can you see the pattern in Mr. Sadat's tie? Does it not resemble an intertwined swastika design or is this just coincidence? I don't happen to believe in coincidences as a rule. It just shows the political; spiritual and symbolic pressure and battles going on in and around Heretz Israel - both then and now.

I THINK I GET IT!

Hello again folks! I've been musing today in the rare moments that I have had to myself during another busy day. Jesus said that IF you had faith the size of a mustard seed; then you can move mountains. I looked at a wall today and thought to myself this strange thought!: If I stood in front of a wall in a burning house - with no way of escape and I was told by the LORD that I could pass through it to safety - but only IF I had 100% faith; then would I have enough faith? 90% would be no good. 99.999% would also leave me short. But if I had perfect faith of 100%; I could escape miraculously.

I thought of Peter trying to follow his LORD and walk on the water after Him. He started out 100% 'in the zone' didn't he? Then he wavered and hit the doubt and worry zone. And promptly sank! I then thought of what the LORD said to the church @ Laodicea in the Book of Revealings [Revelation]. He said that He preferred folks HOT [i.e. 100%] or COLD [0%] but that He couldn't abide the 'luke warm' in between. And He is the Perfect Judge of it too. He can deal with on-fire folks and deep frozen folks ... but tepid; temperate folks are plain hard work to say the very least! I think I "get it".

Our God is not a God of compromise. He is an ABSOLUTE God. His demand for entry into eternal life is simple: 100% faith in the finished Work of His Son on the cross. He has done 100% of the Work and provided 100% of the means. Absolutely! The gift of Salvation is 100% free. What a deal!

WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER?

Hello again folks! Freddie Mercury of 'Queen once sang the song: "Who Wants To Live Forever?" So when a colleague at my place of work mentioned that he had recently read an article in 'Time' magazine where it was being postulated that man would, in a fashion, be superceded by machines and computers when the latter becomes 'self aware' and possesses superhuman intelligence; my thoughts turned initially to those 'Terminator' films and their not-so-now-ridiculous plot lines. I asked the gentleman [Danny] whether I could have a read of the piece; he promptly bought it in and gave it to me the next morning.

There are several statements [apart from the eye-opening front cover shot!] within the article that got my attention:

"2045 ... The Year Man Becomes Immortal ... if you believe humans and machines will become one. Welcome to the Singularity movement.

[Lev Grossman]"

"People have begun to realize that the view of aging as something immutable - like the heat death of the universe - is simply ridiculous. [Aubrey De Grey]"

"Within 30 years, we will have the means to create superhuman intelligence. Shortly after, the human era will be ended." [Vernor Vinge, in "The Coming Technological Singularity]

If you know your Bible and have a grasp of basic biblical doctrine; you will know that the reason we have death [yes, it is because of sin and is its consequence] is to ensure that sin cannot endure forever unpunished. You will know the sin of Adam permeates all of Creation to such an extent is that Creation itself is literally "groaning" or coming apart at the seams - a la the Second Law of Thermodynamics. You will also know that Noah's flood; the Babel dispersion [and other events] were judgements of God on fallen man's attempt to reach God by his own means or reclaim his lost innocence and state - eternal life.

So when you start to read more and more stories where man is looking to extend his 'three score years and ten' of life or amalgamate with the work of his own hands in the same way that the builders of that 'Tower of Babel' did [figuratively speaking]; then this must surely be another 'sign of the times'. I say this because when one also factors in the dire warnings of the 'Mark of the Beast' or '666' in the thirteenth chapter of the Book of Revealings [Revelation] - and the technological advances that might be necessary for those things to happen - an article predicting that by 2045; some men think we could become 'immortal' - we really must be in those 'last days' ... and that's without taking into account Israel ... apostacy ... famines .. wars ... earthquakes et al. I - for one - do not want to live forever in this bag of bones. I much prefer God's version of an eternal upgrade than the one discussed in the above article!

This, of course, comes not so long after another God-fearing couple lost their legal battle with a homosexual couple who claimed they were victims of discrimination because they were refused a double room. I wrote a blog here on HW:CK back in July 2009 entitled: "DRAWING THE LINE" in which I stated that sometimes two positions cannot be be compromised sometimes and the "Agree to Disagree" philosophy needs to be engaged.

But what I am now seeing is more and more victories on an almost stealthy basis by a lobby that is more bigoted in reality than the folks they themselves persecute through our courts. Remember the BA employee sacked for wearing a Christian crucifix? PERIPHERAL VISION [3]

Hello again folks! A numbers of folks have asked me why I have not been posting on the latest uprisings in North Africa and the Middle East as well as the general Arab revolts being reported by mainstream media. Some have also enquired as to why I have been supposedly 'silent' w.r.t. the recent spate of earthquakes and natural disasters. The reason is twofold.

Firstly; many much more qualified and specific ministries are out there focusing on the Matthew 24 aspect of the above events and I do not want to repeat what reputable sources are writing and publishing on the subject of: "... wars and rumours of wars ... nation [rising] against nation, and kingdom against kingdom ... famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes ..." [Matthew 24:6-7]

Secondly; a key aspect of those 'Last Days' will be deception. Henceforth a lot a the events and building blocks of antichrist will be delivered right under our noses; so to speak. Whether it be by natural or contrived circumstances; and maybe the political or the economic or other elements that we are warned of; it is my belief that not a few folks will be saying: "How did all this come about and why wasn't I told about it?" in the days; months and [hopefully] years to come.

I am looking and searching out on the periphery for a fair proportion in the time that I have available - and I always have. It is out on the periphery where surreptitious activities are afoot that are not reported or are reported at such a low level that most folks miss it. So please forgive me if sometimes some of the most popular or mass media inspired 'newsworthy' stories are missing here. My intention has always been to inspire folks to check things out for themselves [i.e. to be Bereans]; to encourage folks to be forewarned and forearmed for the days ahead and to keep an eye 'out on the periphery'. Ironically; as I have been typing today's blog; I have just heard those enigmatic words "peripheral vision" mentioned in one of the programmes on the TV in the background! Is that a confirmation? I hope so!

I received an interesting and invitation from the Reverend Philip Foster MA this morning w.r.t. a day long conference that is due to be held on Saturday 19th March 2011 in St. Ives; Cambridgeshire; England. The conference is entitled: "CLIMATE CHANGE? Who Is Paying? And For What?"

Speakers include Philip Powell [author of that informative and well-written book: "While The Earth Endures"]; Roger Helmer [Conservative MEP]; Professor Stephen Bush [UKIP Advisor on Energy policy] and David Bellamy [well-known media personality; botanist; environmentalist and Global Warming skeptic] amongst many others. Here is the text of the letter that accompanied the above leaflet:

REMEMBERING DWIGHT PRYOR

Hello again folks! I received the latest edition of "In Touch" from Christians Friends of Israel [CFI] this morning and have just opened it up to find inside an A5 size letter announcing the recent death of someone I have always held in high regard: Dwight Pryor.

Here [repeated in full] is the text of that announcement as communicated by CFI-UK's Assistant Director Robin Benson:

"It is with a deep sense of loss that we write to tell you that this past Saturday afternoon, February 5th, our dear friend and co-worker, Dwight Pryor, passed into the presence of the Lord he loved and served so faithfully. As most of you will know, he had been unwell for some weeks since having a gallstone operation in early January. In an email received late Saturday night, his wife Keren Hannah wrote this:

Dear friends, Dwight's heart gave up the fight this morning at 11:00am [Saturday, 4:00pm UK] and he peacefully left us to celebrate Shabbat in our eternal home. Free of pain ... free to jump and run, to dance and sing at the top of his lungs. I'm sorry I'm not able to call each one personally, but please receive this notice from my heart. I believe that his rallying yesterday was an effort to indicate his farewell - the call from Heaven grew louder and the peace and Shalom was already covering him like a tallit [prayer shawl]. There was so much love surrounding us and I cherished his small responses. To echo what I wrote last week:

"I'm filled with gratitude for the peace/Shalom and the order that was evident around Dwight today. Heartfelt thanks to you for each of your prayers and caring thoughts that surrounded him, and Jean and myself, these past hours."

Thank you too for your prayers that will help to sustain his mother, Jean, his son Ben and his wife Erin and myself, who were all at his bedside this morning ... and all the family. "Now I know that the Lord has delivered His anointed one, answering him from His holy heavens with the mighty saving power of His right hand ..." [Psalm 119]. In grief, along with all of us left behind, but celebrating the life of my beloved Dwight, KEREN. Baruch Din HaEmet - Blessed be the Righteous Judge."

Thank you to all of you who have been so faithfully praying for him, Keren, and the family. Please continue to do so now as they mourn his passing and also celebrate his life and ministry. Please also remember us here at CFI-UK as we cope with yet one more loss of someone who was dear to many of us ... it is so hard to bear on top of all the other bereavements we have faced in the last six weeks. I always remember Dwight's insightful and biblical commentaries and especially his teaching series entitled: "Behold The Man! - Discovering our Hebrew Lord, the Historical Jesus of Nazareth". We lose such wonderful teachers and exponents of the Word and I sometimes wonder: Where is the next generation of such marvellous folks? But we know the Lord ALWAYS provides!

BAD FRUIT RISING

Hello again folks! Jesus said: "You shall know them by their fruits ..." [Matthew 7:16]. He was, of course, talking about false prophets in context but He was also alluding to spiritual fruit[s] and by extension; their eternal value.I was thinking a bit this last week about true spiritual yearnings.If what we believe and what we follow means anything to us; we will want to share it with family; friends; strangers and enemies. We will want to persuade them of the benefits on both sides of the barrier of death. We will not try to coerce them; force them; threaten them or deceive them. Even our zeal would need to be put in check.

In all man-made religious organizations and structures ... folks [some honest ones too] will run around trying to earn brownie points; please their god and/or store up credits in their perception of the afterlife. Their motive may even be good but the fruit may not be. When we look at the absolute horror in which many folks these days express when True Christians try to put over their Message. Most believers will have zeal but they do not have to perform heroics in evangelizing in order to earn any favour with God. They have faith and relationship; not religion. They do it because they have something so good; they want others to have it too.

But when folks do things in the practice of their religion alone; their motives get clouded. They do things because they are told to. Because they have to in order to reach the standard or the necessary accrued good works to book their spot in their perception of heaven or the afterlife. Those things can include all the things that most people now use as their excuses to deny all and carry on regardless. Those things can include imposing theocracy in temporal government; murder; control; threats; persecution et al. These are those bad fruits of corruption that Jesus warned us about. Some who call themselves Christians do it and those followers of other faiths or no faith at all do it.

The real deal is the fruit of selflessness and genuine love and concern for those other souls that you would dearly love to come on board freely. But you leave the choice [and consequences] to them. Your desire is for their betterment irrespective of your position. You are not motivated for temporal gain or eternal rewards primarily - you leave that to the Judge to decide. Any belief or unbelief that does otherwise is 'bad fruit' to me. We need to keep our motives in check constantly.

DWBC is a lovely fellowship about twenty [20] miles west-north-west of here and the SDHS do an absolutely marvellous job in getting the Word out in Hebrew to our far flung Jewish friends and those of us blessed enough to want to learn the Absolute language. HYPER-INFLATION AND WEDDING FEES

Hello again folks! One of my sources in the Church of England has advised me that there is a 'drive' on to increase wedding fees et al by up to 50% at present. Whether or not you agree with state-aligned religion; I thought this news interesting because at a time when there all kinds of inflationary pressures and the pressure on 'Christian' marriage is overflowing; our friends in the CoE put some more pressure in the pot.

Is it any wonder that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is in such a state? No church should be run as a business - but many are these days it seems - and not only the CoE. Bring back home churches before it's too late!!!

It is troubling that such intense media coverage of this Vatican announcement almost legitimizes one of the many false doctrines of roman catholicism. In these days where a great many folks still honestly and truly believe that there is life after death [despite the claims of the religion of atheistic evolutionary THEORY] and some of those folks thirst enough to want to search out the TRUTH; the mass media practically endorses a practice more akin to spiritualism and voodoo that so-called 'christianity' [with a little 'c'].

And at this very time we see not a few Anglican bishops leaving the Church of England to join the papal ranks in protest at the ordination of women bishops. They leave one man-made religious organization to join one that is even more in error and distinctly Babylonian. Is it no wonder that this once green and pleasant land is in the state it is when it has these examples of state-aligned religious manoeuvring instead of the real deal? A real miracle of deliverance is truly needed while we have these last fleeting [so-called] freedoms.

Hello again folks! Nice to talk to you again! I just wanted to post this latest news on the health of our dear brother Tony Pearce that I have received from Sally Richardson this last week. Tony had an operation on 11-Jan-2011 to perform keyhole surgery on a malignant tumour in the colon. As of Thursday; he had a high pulse and was in great pain. As of Friday; his condition has stabilized but he is not on solids until his intestines start working. The main thing to pray for is that they start working again. He is still on a morphine pump and intravenous fluids.

Folks; we always undervalue the value and power of honest and heartfelt prayer. Please pray for the swift recovery of this man; for his wife; his family; friends and church congregation.

Although it's been a little quiet here in the last quarter of 2010; this 'ol blog has now attained nearly 28,000 visits and - naturally - courted a little controversy.

I have to say that there was a time a couple of months back where I considered halting HW:CK. It wasn't because of criticism - that's par for the course. It was because of the pettiness of those folks who seek to knock the messenger for the sake of it - going after the saw dust rather than the construction. And it should come as no surprise that on that very night that two [2] different and unrelated regular visitors; who could not have known my thought life; emailed to encourage me when I was at my lowest point. And for that I am eternally grateful. Because I carried on. I do have to say that it is sometimes easier to get on with atheists; pagans and all manner of folks than those who claim to follow Christ. Indeed; one of my friends has said this year that Christians sometimes can be quite obnoxious - and not because of a particular doctrinal stand. This year - 2010 - has been a struggle on many fronts; interesting and a learning curve ... I pray that 2011 is a blessing to all of you too!

WHEN TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT [THEORY]!

Hello again folks! Most of you who are regular visitors to this blog know that I don't happen to believe in [human-caused] 'Global Warming'. They will know that I believe the current panic and extreme violation of 'neutral' scientific enquiry w.r.t. to this THEORY is more likely a vehicle for the imposition of a freedom-smashing; global; one world government.

Readers should know that markets were regularly held on a frozen Thames in London in days gone by before the Industrial Revolution. They should also know that vines were grown and wines produced up in Northumberland in the Middle Ages. We have had warm periods and cold snaps before. The output and intensity if the Sun is indeed cyclic roughly every.t eleven [11] years. And when one also considers that Orontius Finaeus Delphinus [1494-1555] mapped the entire ice-free coast coast of Antarctica in 1531; it is indeed a good thing to investigate past climatic changes that occurred well before those darned CO2 emissions [supposedly]. Indeed; if we didn't live in a global greenhouse called Earth; we would not exist at all!

The article in 'The Sun' newspaper here in England was highlighted to me today and I thought it of enough interest to share with you guys. Basically it is saying that two [2] of those [so-called] stone cold certain predictions of the [human-caused] global warming myth fraternity "were wrong". Those very prognostications were the basis for the movie: "The Day After Tomorrow".

The problem with publishing THEORIES as fact without sufficient evidence is that it is unscientific in and of itself when the 'research' is tilted to prove the THEORY in the first place. Of course there are extremes of climate and climates do change. My argument is that it may be accounting too much of the cause of us tiny humans and not enough attention on the cyclic rumblings of the universal clockwork ... as created by God Himself. Whether you agree with me or not - and debate is good - it is most important that you the reader always check these things out for your good selves.

The size of the article on page #29 of this national daily newspaper somewhat makes my point. After all the hype ... the actual 'facts' are printed well away from the front pages where the allegations were first made. Most of the population will remember the headlines but not the small grain of truth just after 'Dear Deirdre' and before the sports pages.

NOW THERE'S A RARITY!

Hello again folks! Whilst on a rare day off from work today; I spotted this display in a Wolverhampton city centre toy shop. The only shop that ever displays anything remotely to do with the reason for the season around here. You all know my opinion that December 25th is more to do with Saturnalia than the birth of the LORD Jesus Christ [He was - in this writers opinion - more likely born during September/October during the Feast of Tabernacles]. But despite that ... I found this most refreshing all the same; being as Christ is being scrubbed out of Christmas anyway these days as the atheistic agenda of this country apparently prefers the title 'Winterfest'! More fool they.

FYI: The shop is entitled: "The Entertainer" and it is located between the Mander and Wulfrun Centres in Wolverhampton. It's owner is a True Christian. The website address is ably advertised in the window!

I really like this man; his teaching and his stance on certain [so-called] 'controversial' subject matter and I wish him all the very best. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jacob; his family; his friends and his supporters worldwide:

"Blessings in Jesus. Jacob Prasch returned from Jordan with a recurrent edema and increased blood pressure plus new [although not serious] changes in his EKG results. He has had a battery of blood chemistries and will be undergoing further medical tests and his medication dosages to control atrial fibrillation and hypertension have been increased. Prayer is requested. After consultation with his cardiologist changes will need to be made to Jacob’s schedule into the forthcoming year. Jacob will be fulfilling his speaking schedule through next month only. He will also still be speaking in a Calvary Chapel in New York where he will be visiting family for New Year and, while already in the USA, he will still address the Phoenix Conference at Calvary Chapel, Tempe, Arizona. No further engagements will take place in late December or January. On his cardiologist’s advice the USA itinerary for February, March, and April will be canceled as will all UK and other engagements in the North of England, Wales, or the Midlands [except Nottingham and Grantham]. As anticipated, there will be no visit to Australia or to New Zealand in 2011. There will also be no Bible study tour of Israel in 2011 and the scheduled September study tour of Greece will likely be rescheduled. The June itinerary for South Africa will be pushed back until late July as his cardiologist recommends a 6 month suspension of heavy travelling except for medical treatments or holiday. No decision has as yet been made concerning Singapore. Jacob will be confined to speaking only around London and the South of England mainly on Sundays and within close driving distance of his home base and the Moriel UK office not requiring long distance travel, long distance driving, frequent jet travel for itineraries and jet lag, etc. In addition to a medically supervised exercise program the plan is for Jacob to use the down time for writing his next book, spending more time with his wife, preparing for their daughter’s wedding, and producing new teaching material for recording, filming, and the internet. MINE BE THE GLORY!

Hello again folks! Joanna Livermore has come up trumps again with this uplifting story from Chile ... a country that deserves a lot of credit in this writers opinion [via "Les @ Outback Patrol"]:

"Here are some interesting parts of the rescue .. When the miners came up one-at-a-time in that capsule; most were wearing special yellow T-shirts. These had been created by the Chilean branch of Campus Crusade for Christ. Emblazoned boldly across the front of the T-shirts were the words, in Spanish, "Thank you, Lord." The miners, in fact, had requested these words. The shirts were made and sent down to them while they waited for rescue.

But that's not all. A quotation on the back of the shirts which began "porque en su mano estan..." was actually Scripture. It was Psalm 95:4: "In His hands are the depths of the earth, the heights of the mountains are His also."

Campus Crusade had also provided the trapped miners; while still deep underground; with MP3 players with the audio version of the "Jesus" film. They also received the Bible in audio format. Now here's the Good News. Rev. Aldredo Cooper; the chaplain to the President of Chile; said of the rescued miners: "They're all wanting to testify to the Lord Jesus Christ. All 33 of them are saying that they found God in the mine. Five or six were already Christians and held services down in the mine. Many went down with no faith at all but they all say this: ‘We were not 33; we were 34 because Jesus Christ was with us down there.'"

One miner, Mario Sepulveda, told reporters, "We never lost faith. We knew we would be rescued. I have been with God and I've been with the devil. I seized the hand of God. I always knew God would get us out of there." One interesting point that I had missed was that a medic actually was sent down the rescue hole before the other miners could be brought up. Isn't that a picture of what God did? He sent His Son down to us before we could be rescued. We all, like the miners, were in darkness. But, as Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life" [John 8:12]. And, "I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness" [John 12:46]. I can only imagine the reaction, if those miners, trapped deep underground, came across Psalm 88 on their audio Bibles, when these words rang in their ears:

"I am counted with those who go down to the pit; I am like a man who has no strength, Adrift among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave, You have laid me in the lowest pit, In darkness, in the depths. You have put away my acquaintances far from me; I am shut up, and I cannot get out; My eye wastes away ... LORD, I have called daily upon You; I have stretched out my hands to You. Will You work wonders for the dead?

CORNELIUS SAVED HIS HOUSE!

Hello again folks! We all need a spiritual pick-me-up from time to time [me more than most!]; so I truly hope that this devotional from David Wilkerson may encourage and exhort you when you read it. With thanx [again!] to Joanna Livermore ... my Shropshire Sentinel!:

“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band. A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always" [Acts 10:1-2]

The life of Cornelius proves that God seeks full-hearted devotion, obedience, and ceaseless prayer. Consider the ways in which this devoted man of God saved his house and the miracles his devotion wrought. Cornelius was so determined that he and his house come into God’s fullness that he actually neglected eating in order to seek God. Food was secondary to his deep spiritual hunger and longing for God. Days of fasting without a corresponding hunger and thirst for God avails nothing; in fact, it is better to eat than to fast in an effort to earn blessing from heaven. But hunger for God takes the edge off the desire for food for a man with a heart in pursuit of him.

This man Cornelius should put us all to shame. He had no teaching tapes; he didn't even have a teacher. He was not a Jewish proselyte but simply a man desperate for God. What he had learned had come the hard way - no seminars, no conventions, no how-to-get-it-from-God books. He did not even have the HolyGhost in him yet, urging him to pray and seek God's face. Yet he fasted and prayed always. His prayer life made him a giver of alms. God still had not answered his prayer for his own household, yet he gave generously to all in need. He was not so wrapped up in his own need that it took all his time, attention and money.

Praying men always get God's attention and the praying man hears God speaking. It's been that way since the beginning. You can save your house the same way Cornelius saved his. In a single day, with

one glorious miracle, his entire household was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. In one day his house was transformed from spiritual blindness to marvellous light and life. All because this man set out with great determination to save his house. God help us to get serious about praying for our lost family and friends" [end quote]

Hello again folks! What a busy month October has been for KJS! Last week I took a much needed four [4] day break with the Sinclair clan down in Hayle; Cornwall; England last week. We had a good rest and did not a little sightseeing. We visited St. Michael's Mount on the Wednesday and whilst doing the tour; I spotted this interesting sculpture depicting the defeat of satan by St. Michael the archangel.

It's an interesting piece. It prodded me to explain to the family briefly the significance of Michael w.r.t. end times theology [eschatology]. One is reminded to re-read the book of Daniel and its scriptural sister; the Book of Revelation when one receives such prods!

The reason for my comment is this. There may well have to be a catalyst for the precursor to the dreaded '666' or 'mark of the beast' before it actually arrives and is put in effect. One of those catalysts MAY be a currency war that leads to a worldwide double-dip recession being initiated. And that financial furore would likely lead to global calls for a one world currency and by extension government. Of course there will be other factors for sure. One of those being that the current world population of approximately 6.5 billion is too high to monitor and control. We know that the government above the government [NWO/Illuminati et al] are keen on a reduced population around 0.5 billion so me thinx that there are still a few pivotal events to happen. In any case it is good to be watchful and not put our eggs all in one basket w.r.t. end times theology - in my personal opinion that is. BEWARE THE IDES OF FUTURE DAYS

Hello again folks! Regular visitors to this particular blog may remember one of two statements with respect to the demographic time bomb that is ticking in the background. One of the statements that I have heard is that Germany will be majority muslim by 2040. So it was interesting today to read this article:

The above article written by one Paul Williams [PhD] for 'Europe News' quotes German Chancellor Angela Merkel as stating that Germany will become an Islamic state in the mid term. If you read this fascinating piece; you will see that our country is going to change beyond recognition in the next one or two generations. Back in the days of LWCF; during a few of our Bible studies on end times views; I stated that there may be a correlation between the beheading of folks who refuse the MoB a la the Book of Revelation; and the twin grim histories of the persecution of True believers by the roman catholic church [RCC] and islam. Indeed; there is a very strong link between the doctrines of the RCC and islam on the subject of Mary. I say this because many hostages; believers and muslims who chose to leave their faith have been beheaded in the name of allah. One only has to view Geert Wilders' film: "Fitna" with an open mind and remember those horrific reports from Iraq and Afghanistan as to those unfortunate folks' fate.

My point is that if islam becomes the dominant force in the demographic and political ethos of the EU Beast; based on the texts of the koran of the early and later years of its founder - when 'peace' was the buzzword for a minority muslim populace but not when they held the majority - we COULD see the texts of the Last Days fulfilled by islamic adherents and their 'one world religion' partners - specifically the RCC. History can and indeed does tend to repeat itself so one should keep an eye on the demographic pie chart of their country with a view to this. Rome has not changed and the teachings of the koran and hadith cannot change. Therefore it should be noted that Angela Merkel has [although this has been largely unreported in the news 'headlines'] made a very poignant and almost prophetic statement. And if Turkey ever became a member of the EU ... that process of islamic takeover will accelerate. Be watchful folks and be about whatever your general and specific calling is - while you have the 'freedom' to do so. RECALL: WHEN 'JESUS' CAME TO PENDEFORD

Hello again folks! Back in 2005 during the days of our little home fellowship in Wolverhampton; Living Waters Christian Fellowship [LWCF] was engaged in one or two evangelistic ventures. One of those events was to host an outreach event in a Wolverhampton city centre hotel. Through friends and contacts [especially Mysia!]; we were able to host our meeting with the lead speech being made by none other than Hollywood actor Bruce Marchiano.

Bruce is the actor who played Jesus in the Visual Bible's film entitled "Matthew" ... he also made an appearance in the follow-up release entitled "Acts". We had met Bruce a couple of times on his UK speaking tours thru' Mysia and she was instrumental in organizing the meeting. I remember introducing the meeting and playing percussion with John Elson [Guitar/Vocals] during the worship time. I remember the moving monologue and gospel message during which Bruce described some amazing events that took place during the filming of the movie. I remember meeting our good friends Dave and Chris Hall [now at Living Waters Ministries Cyprus] for the first time and other old and new faces.

Rebekah was just six [6] years old back then and you can see her with Bruce in out half-decorated front room in the photograph above. After the meeting; we all travelled back by mini-bus to our humble abode and a lovely buffet/spread was put on to those who would partake. Bruce was a charming guest and I enjoyed meeting him as did LWCF and our extended families. Real fruit emerged from that occasion ... people had divine appointments; they met the Lord and were encouraged greatly. I is good to sit here remembering that night almost five [5] years on. I recommend you get a hold of that 'Matthew' DVD and be edified as the events of the apostle Mattias are portrayed very succinctly on film.

VATICAN VISIT: A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD

Hello again folks! Blog #600. If you needed a clue as to the true nature of the roman catholic church [RCC]; the pope and its many doctrinal errors; you need look no further than the fact that the much-hyped visit of the former head of the inquisition and ex-Hitler youth member is constantly being cited as a state visit. The Vatican is a state and the pope is head of that state. Technically; he is not visiting our shores as head of a religious organization; per Se. What I would like to say is this. The pope [and his predecessors] is an enemy [still] of this country on many levels since the Reformation. The RCC is; next to islam; is the greatest threat to biblical Christianity. Its dogmas which include the mass; the co-redemptrix status of Mary; the praying to the dead and veneration of souls long passed but [supposedly] in purgatory are all extra -biblical. The leader of said 'church' [which this writer labels a cult] is on record as having covered up for not a short time the crimes of paedophile priests and nuns.

POPE = NO HOPE

NO POPE = HOPE

So on many levels including conduct and doctrine; the visit of the pope to 'Mary's dowry' is not a good thing. I have encountered such a lot of general dissatisfaction with work colleagues; friends and family with not only the visit taking place but the British taxpayer having to fund it. But - unfortunately - we have to because it is a state visit you see. It is a visit to do with the temporal and not the spiritual. Jesus said that believers [and by extension their organizations] should not be 'friends with the world.' If ever there was a religious body that was in bed with mammon; it is the RCC. That is the huge clue as to its real intentions. I sympathize with those well-intentioned lay members of the RCC who know not what kind of trap they are ensnared in. I struggle to understand why True believers remain in this cult.

But as with a lot of occurrences in this life; this visit may may create opportunities to reach those deceived; lost souls in the RCC structure.This is why I posted my previous blog w.r.t. the meeting being held this weekend in Telford featuring ex-catholics who intend to provide much needed advice on how to reach currently practising RCC members with the Truth:

Whether you think it was planned or allowed to happen or agree with countless other [conspiracies] theories; it was an awful day. I heard President Obama call today for greater religious tolerance. This is the man presiding over the de-Christianization of the USA; the first black muslim President of the United States of America. If only the same heads of state and other high profile leaders would condemn the intolerance of muslim countries against Christians and members of other faiths as well as those who decide to leave islam. If only. I have not a few American friends and family. Some new and some old. Today I wish them the God-given shalom peace that is the only peace that stills the soul and heals the spirit.

ROSH HA SHANNA

Hello again folks! First things first ... Be blessed on Rosh Ha Shannah! The Hebrew word Rosh means “head” or “Beginning” Ha means “the” and Shannah means “year”. It is only used once in the Tenach “Old Testament”. Ezekiel 40:1 says: "in the beginning of the year" in the Hebrew it says Rosh Ha Shannah. The more common Biblical name is: “Feast of Trumpets.” [Leviticus 23:23-25]. Rosh Hashannah is considered the Jewish New Year, but it comes on the seventh month on the first day. In the Jewish world it is considered the birthday of the world. If you count from the first day of Elul [the 6th month] until the 1st day of Tishri [7th month] which is Rosh Ha Shannah you will have counted 30 days. Known as the 30 days of preparation ending with Yom Teruah,Yom in Hebrew is “day” and Teruah means “Trumpets”. Hence it is the day of sounding the trumpets, or known today as Rosh Ha Shannah. Now ... Rosh Hashannah is the spiritual New Year, not the regular new year, for it would come on the first day of Nisan, the first month on the Jewish calendar. Much like the 6 days of creation, the 7th day is the Sabbath. The same is true with the first 6 months and the 7th month being a Sabbath, and the 1st day of the 7th month is Rosh Ha Shannah, the spiritual New Year. Recognized in Israel and the Jewish world as the New Year. Rosh Ha Shannah is the beginning of the ten days called High Holy Days or “Days of Awe”/. They are also called the Days of Repentance, Days of Admitting, Days of Returning. These ten days end with the Day of Atonement, “Yom Kippur” [with thanx to Mr. Jerry Golden for this succinct explanation!]

On another subject; recently I've joined Facebook - primarily to reconnect with my family - but there have been other benefits. One of those benefits have been the number of followers of my ELOBF blog who are also believers in the LORD Jesus Christ. I have other friends who support UKIP and are believers too. As I've said before; I feel it's a kind of confirmation of what I'm up to. God is good ... all the time God is good.

BAD CRESCENT MOON RISING

Hello again folks! Quite a few folks [at work especially] have asked me what my thoughts are on the Florida pastor who plans to burn copies of the koran on the 9th anniversary of 9/11:

And you may be surprised by my response! On one hand; islam is well known for its persecution of True Christians [especially those who leave islam by their own free will] and many; many Bibles have been burned. Not a few Christians and Christian missionaries have been burned out of their homes in muslim countries too. Indeed; it is well documented that you can't even build a church in certain islamic countries. And we all remember the mass celebrations in the Middle East when 9/11 took place. But - on the other hand - is it a good and God honouring thing to burn korans to make a point? Doubtless; islam is one of the many enemies of True Christianity but I'm reminded of this scripture:

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you."

[Matthew 5:44]

It is more God-honouring in this writers opinion to take the above Godly advice in this particular circumstance. Burning a bunch of books from the opposition strikes of immaturity and carnality. WWJD? This 'story' gives a platform to the promoters of islam. I hear that a Taliban spokesman said: " This proves that the West is against islam.". The truth is that islam is against the West [a.k.a. the 'great satan']. But this is fantastic propaganda for the likes of the MCB and CAIR and their worldwide affiliates. The ire and soulish churchianity disguised as patriotic nationalism of one desperate pastor is ammunition for a thousand imams. Informed folks know the threat of islam but there is a time and a place to make a stand. I do not concur with Hillary Clinton or the pope in their condemnation either. They regularly fail to condemn the persecution and outright abuse of True Christians in the islamic world and don't have a leg to stand on.

FUTURE HISTORY

Hello again folks! As I drove to and from work today; I considered some words that I heard recently: "Only the victors write history". I don't think that you'll ever get a hold of any unbiased historical account - especially about me! Only God knows - literally - all our true [personal] histories.

But what a wonderful thing it is that Jesus Christ is the Ultimate Victor. The Creator Redeemer gave us our True origins in the Book of Genesis and has already given us the blessed assurance of future history in the Book of Revelation too. Because He has defeated death itself; the Captain of our [True] Salvation; the First and Last has inspired Moses and John to give us the First and Final account of time immemorial. If I were a betting man; I'd go with a scenario where the result is fixed; certain and to be trusted! Now that really is grace overflowing!

Call it unlucky or call it his time; it is a sober reminder of the brevity of life and how we need to keep a short account with our Maker and Saviour and how unsaved folks gamble with eternity. Hello again folks! Bill Koenig wrote a very interesting book entitled: "Eye to Eye" back in 2004 that was subtitled: "Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel". The product description w.r.t. this book @ amazon.com reads as such:

"What do these major record-setting events have in common? [a] the ten costliest insurance events in U.S. history; [b] the twelve costliest hurricanes in U.S. history; [c] three of the four largest tornado outbreaks in U.S. history and [d] the two largest terrorism events in U.S. history?

Answer: All of these major catastrophes and many others occurred or began on the very same day or within 24-hours of U.S. presidents Bush, Clinton and Bush applying pressure on Israel to trade her land for promises of "peace and security," sponsoring major "land for peace" meetings, making major public statements pertaining to Israel’s covenant land and /or calling for a Palestinian state. Are each one of these major record-setting events just a coincidence or awe-inspiring signs that God is actively involved in the affairs of Israel? On the day when the pressure is well and truly being applied more on the Israeli side in the latest round of [so-called] 'peace' talks in Washington between Israel and the 'palestinians'; Hurricane Earl is motoring up the eastern coast of the USA prompting some evacuations; just as the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is making statements like this: "True peace, a lasting peace, will be achieved only with mutual and painful concessions from both sides.":

We are not also witnessing another example of the consequences that Bill Koenig has ably documented when nation[s] mess with Israel. We are also seeing the warnings of scripture being played out in our day. It will be indeed interesting and noteworthy to see what deals are done in this latest round of 'negotiations' and what events [natural or otherwise] transpire in or against the USA - if they are complicit in the division of the Jewish State of Israel. Hello again folks! Of course it was wrong of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef to say what he said the other day regarding Mahmoud Abbas and the 'palestinian' people thereupon. We know that God is against those who hate Israel [the apple of His eye] but we also know that in His long suffering grace; He is not willing that any [Jews or muslims or others] should perish:

The above statement from Israel Today article should be read in addition to the international furore against the Rabbi's comments and puts the whole debate in a more balanced state:

In light of the murder of four [4] Israelis in the [so-called] 'West Bank' this week; this tension is likely to increase. The only real shalom peace is going to come about via Messiah Yeshua. The State of Israel is basically secular and atheistic at present. It represents the breathless bones and sinews of those 'Dry Bones' as prophesied by Ezekiel. We see the falling short of the thoughts and intents of man's heart; soul and his religion when we look at the scenario between the Israelis and the [so-called] palestinians. It is this tension and the repeated pressure by certain interested groups that will lead to the dreaded covenant of Sheol [death]. Of course; the statements by the Rabbi and those of the imams are wrong and immoral. But without Yeshua as the lynch pin of both their mutual reconciliation and salvation; both the Jews and 'palestinians' will ever be at odds. In the days ahead; we should not be surprised by any increase in the rhetoric between the sides leading up the [public] arrival of the AC - whoever he may turn out to be.

Hello again folks! A short blog today to let you know that the Sinclair's have been listening to some solid preaching on the internet this morning/afternoon. We've been listening to Pastor Carter Conlon at Times Square Church in NYC in two [2] audio and video sermons at:

The messages are very much in the same vein as those of David Wilkerson - the Senior Pastor at said church. And it's interesting and noteworthy that such powerful preaching is broadcast from a city that also gives over its streets and boulevards to muslims to pray in from overflowing mosques. This really is the front line of the battle for the hearts and minds of the West.

Listening to these wise words reminds me of how REAL preaching should be delivered. I heard someone say once that any message should be over in fifteen [15] minutes. Like a surgeon with his sharp scalpel preforms his task efficiently and proficiently. This is because the typical human being has only a limited time span of concentration. O for a church in this vicinity that preaches AND LIVES the True Gospel and is not bogged down with secondary doctrines as sacred cows such as cessationism; the Pre-Trib rapture theorem or 'Once saved; Always saved' and the rest. I feel like I've had a spiritual shot in the arm today. Praise the LORD!

THE PROBLEM OF A MOSQUE @ GROUND ZERO [2]

It is interesting that in light of the growing furore w.r.t. the proposal to build a mosque at 'Ground Zero' in New York; the issue of the growing islamic advance into the USA [that 'great satan' as some imams like to call it] and the West in general is starting to pique the interest of the general public:

I've always hoped that besides being an outlet of the thoughts and musings of KJS; this 'ol blog would encourage debate and at the very least ignite folks into checking out the periphery and checking out all things for themselves a la the Bereans of Acts 17:11. I write usually from the heart with a zeal for encouragement; real concern for all folks and with the somewhat quirky humour of KJS. A friend of mine once said: "Keith; you are like Marmite! People either love you or hate you!". And they were right. And Jesus would prefer His folks being hot and/or cold - if we take Revelation 3:16 as it is written. He can deal with those souls ... it's the lukewarm; grey people who don't know [or care] what they believe or why they believe it that I'm sure frustrates His long suffering desire for their True Salvation.

I am no prophet but I do think it meet to peer into current events from time to time to see what's 'appening - so to speak! I get a hold of certain news threads and comment on them in light of certain scriptures. I say this because sometimes it feels to this writer that there are folks out there who like to shoot the messenger if they don't like the message. My retort is to encourage folks to check out the periphery and become True Bereans.

SKYPE CONSIDERATIONS

Hello again folks! I heard this morning on the TV Breakfast News that apparently the average person is now spending half his or her [or both at the same time!] waking time either watching the TV or interfacing with other folks by various means.The figure quoting was 9.5 hours of media usage in 6.5 hours - you work it out! - it seems a lot of folks can do more than one thing at the same time! And those various means include the Internet; Twitter; fancy mobile 'phones and even the odd blog!

I've often wondered on what will be the mechanics of the infamous 'Mark of the Beast' as prophesied in chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation or how the whole world might view the slaying of the Two [2] Witnesses. Some folks have quite rightly looked the Verichip 'Digital Angel' and the detail of how antichrist will keep his beady eyes on us all [especially if the Pre-Trib rapture THEORY proves to be somewhat left of centre - so to speak]. But when I look at one new and developing technology that even my mother-in-law [the great Doris] could use sparingly; I think the necessary technology and gadgetry utilized by Skype is making those dreaded forthcoming and even darker days seem that little bit closer.

KNOWN BY THEIR FRUITS

Hello again folks! I just heard on the news that there is mounting widespread criticism of the response of the oil-rich arab bloc to the international appeals for aid by various agencies for their flood-hit muslim brothers in Pakistan. By the way; the #1 contributor to the aid is the country that certain muslim 'leaders' often call: "the great satan". I refer; of course; to the good 'ol [despite its faults] United States of America. When you think of the Petro-Dollar rich Gulf oil nations [who are all muslim by the way] and the untold wealth that they possess; it is beyond belief [or is it?] that they fall far behind when any international relief effort is under way. Yet they do invest multi-millions of dollars in certain English 'Premier League' football teams!

Islam is primarily a religion of conquest - not mission. And more muslims have killed each other than any of us 'infidels' ever have. The Sunni versus Shi'ite rivalry and the Iraq-Iran war evidence this. Indonesia; a majority muslim country; received more assistance from the West than the entire muslim ummah after the 2005 Tsunami disaster. So what does this say about that 'religion of peace and tolerance'? If they cannot display mercy and compassion to their fellow muslims; what should us non-muslims [or 'infidels'] expect in the future? Answer: You already know them by their fruits.

ON LORD PEARSON'S RESIGNATION

Hello again folks! I like Lord Pearson. Not only is he a member of the establishment who stands up for his country against the EU 'Beast'; he is well aware of the threat of the creeping islamist threat via Eurabia. He took over a difficult job in succeeding Nigel Farage and he did increase the net UKIP vote in his one year tenure. Yes; he did make one or two gaffes; but who doesn't? UKIP @ Wolverhampton declined to get involved in the furore over his support of Tory EU-sceptic candidates [in favour of UKIP candidates] during the General Election - and rightly so. It was not the time and the place for any infighting. And it still isn't. Lord Pearson is 68 years of age and has done a creditable job in captaining the UKIP ship through choppy waters. We should thank him for his contribution ... and look ahead.

UKIP does need a bright; young; passionate and indeed media-savvy leader next. And we need the new leader [whoever he turns out to be] to hang around for an extended period. UKIP needs stability in its leadership in order to grow and bear fruit .... especially in the last Parliament before the UK puts the Euro issue to the people. The general public need to perceive UKIP as a creditable party but any perception will be tainted if the man at the top keeps being changed on a seemingly regular basis. My vote would be for Nigel Farage to be invited back as Leader but with a much stronger support structure. He is a gentastic public speaker; is still perceived as the 'voice of UKIP' and we need him at this time - in my own personal opinion.
